The Herpes Viruses Association

I'm a celebrity star... supports 'Chinese-girls-with-herpes'

“Give us the money David,” says herpes charity to “I’m a celebrity…” star.

Following David Gest’s declaration that he supports the charity “Chinese Girls With Herpes” and the establishment of the web site www.chinesegirlswithherpes.com, the real herpes charity the Herpes Viruses Association (HVA) has been linked to the new site.

“We have been helping people with herpes for over twenty five years now”, said HVA Director Marian Nicholson, "We welcome the opportunity to help more people. Please visit the new site and come to us for advice and to offer donations to help with our vital work. We challenge David to help the genuine herpes charity and give his joke a real purpose.”

The Herpes Viruses Association exists to promote better mental and physical health with regard to the family of herpes viruses.  Its aims are:
1.   To provide information to the public, to medical professionals and to the media.
2.   To encourage the development of new treatments for herpes simplex.
3.   To tackle stigma and the unnecessary trauma associated with the condition. More information from Marian Nicholson or Nigel Scott - at HVA office.
